Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd later went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were defeated within the first five minutes. After that, she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut in professional boxing. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by the first round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to take out McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then able to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks was a unanimous winner. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina through her ground and pound techniques and earned the TKO second-round victory. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more impressive victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of evening. Her first fight of note came with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The two fighters had an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters were awarded the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to end Ladd and her streak. In the third round of UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via majority decision.
