Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded, mostly in the horror and martial arts types. Her style and method are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action films with a morbid fascination. Her first review was in late 2009 after becoming popular on their forums. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to join the Channel Awesome team. In early 2015, she joined the site as Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts via her channel both covering the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host together with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started reviewing films, and gained popularity in the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the network's family of movie critics. She has been on countless Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as in Phelous & the Movies. She was a member of Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also be seen on numerous episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
